IFRS Update Courses

International financial reporting standards are evolving rapidly. This page brings together Shasat’s full suite of IFRS update training courses, covering new standards, amendments, exposure drafts, discussion papers, IFRIC interpretations, FRC comments, industry issues, and best practices. No other update programme covers the full IASB agenda in a single structured workshop.

The 2026 cycle brings critical changes. IFRS 18 replaces IAS 1 from 1 January 2027. However, retrospective application is required, so entities must capture 2026 data under IFRS 18 categories now. Additionally, IFRS 9 and IFRS 7 classification amendments take effect from 1 January 2026. IFRS 19 now extends disclosure relief for subsidiaries. Furthermore, the IASB published Exposure Draft ED/2025/1 on Risk Mitigation Accounting in December 2025, proposing a new model for financial institutions managing interest rate repricing risk. As a result, financial institutions should review the ED and submit responses before the comment period closes on 31 July 2026.

These workshops are designed for anyone involved in financial reporting, including finance professionals, auditors, regulators, preparers of financial statements, and users of financial statements across all industries and sectors. Senior IFRS practitioners deliver all workshops worldwide and online. Browse the courses below and each entry contains full programme details, dates, and pricing.
